Terms and conditions for all DBA Network events
The terms and conditions below are designed to enable us to deliver the best service to you.
Naturally, please contact us if you have any query or issue
When you book an event with us you agree to the following:
1. Payment conditions & registration (live and recording)
The person registered to a live event will also receive a recorded version.
Payment must be made by credit card. A booking is not complete until payment is received by DBA Network Pty Ltd.
There are no refunds for non-attendance, cancellations or for prepaid webinars that have still to be presented.
Note, however, if you cannot attend a live webinar, a recording is available after each live webinar for a 3 month period.
2. Changing an attendee
The person registered will be forwarded each webinar link. If they wish to transfer the webinar to another person,
they must notify us at least 3 business days prior to a live webinar. We will then update our records to ensure
the CPD certificate is issued to the other person. Note that the person registered will continue to receive future
links for further webinars they are registered for.
3. CPD certificates
CPD certificates will, subject to clause 2, be sent upon completion of an entire webinar. Note that a certificate does not issue for part completion; as you must view the entire presentation to maximise your learning outcome.
All attendees that view the webinar must be registered to be authorised to view the webinar and have access to the materials without contravening copyright.
If you have viewed the webinar and do not receive CPD certification you might not have been registered and you and your firm might have engaged in copyright infringement. The penalties for copyright infringement can be serious and can include significant penalties.
If you have not been registered, please contact DBA Network immediately to arrange for retrospective registration.
4. Educational information only, not advice
We provide general educational and factual information only. We do not provide any advice (including no legal, financial,
taxation or investment advice). While we aim to ensure all information is accurate, it should not be relied on and we disclaim
all liability for any loss or damage howsoever arising in respect of any information provided to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Further, we do not hold an Australian Financial Services licence under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
5. CPDlive Pty Ltd trading as Cahoot Learning
Cahoot Learning assists the facilitation of DBA Network's events. The views expressed by DBA Network are not those of Cahoot Learning, and Cahoot Learning is not liable
in any way as a result of information provided by the presenters.
6. Privacy Policy
Cahoot Learning may use your information to process your registration, send training information, contact you about the services of Cahoot Learning, and for other purposes related to delivering to you the services which you have ordered via Cahoot Learning. Read the details of the Cahoot Learning Privacy Policy.
