Terms and conditions for all DBA Network Pty Ltd events

We appreciate your support and as you would understand need to outline certain terms and conditions for efficient service. When you book an event with us you agree to the following:

1. Payment conditions
Confirmation of a booking is not complete until payment is received. Payment must be received at least 48 hours before the event unless you are a prior attendee.

2. Changing the attendee
No charge applies for changing the attendee(s) of your booking provided that we receive written notice at least 24 hours prior to the event. Otherwise a $50 administrative fee may be imposed.

3. Cancellation

Face-to-Face seminars:
No fee applies for cancelling your booking if we receive your written cancellation request at least 14 business days prior to a face-to-face event. Please note that we incur significant costs to stage face to face events (including room/equipment hire and catering). We also have to confirm attendee numbers well in advance of each event. Thus, a cancellation fee applies for requests received as follows:
- within 14 business days but no later than 2 business days prior to the event - fee of 50% of the event price.
- within 2 business days of the event - fee of 100% of the event price.
Please note that failure to attend an event without a prior written cancellation or transfer (see 4 below) request is charged at the usual event price.
Online Webinars
There will be no refund for online webinars or recordings.

SMSF Core Course

In addition to the cancellation terms and conditions above, where an attendee who has registered for the SMSF Core Course seeks to cancel after the materials for the course have been emailed to them, then a minimum 50% cancellation fee applies even if a cancellation occurs prior to the usual 14 business day notification period. Please note that the materials for this course reflect extensive work and detailed notes and therefore reflect considerable value and they are not otherwise available apart from attending this course.

4. Changing the event you would like to attend
No charge applies for changing an event you would like to attend, provided we receive your written request at least 14 business days prior to the event. Change requests made within 14 business days of the event are treated as a cancellation and a cancellation fee applies (see 3 above). A further adjustment of the amount payable or refundable is applicable where the change involves one of our other events with a different price.

5. Information
We provide general educational material and factual information only and do not provide any advice including no legal, financial, taxation or investment advice. In particular, we do not hold an Australian Financial Services licence under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and do not provide financial product advice. We also do not provide advice that is to be relied on as the information provided is general in nature and is provided solely educational purposes only. While we make our best effort to ensure that such information is accurate, we disclaim all liability for any loss or damage however arising in respect of any information, product or service provided to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The views expressed by the presenters are not those of Cahoot Learning, and Cahoot Learning will not be liable in any way as a result of information provided by the presenters on Cahoot Learning Webinar Training. Your information can be used by Cahoot Learning to: process your registration; send training information; contact you about the services of Cahoot Learning; and other purposes related to delivering to you services which you have ordered from Cahoot Learning.
