SMSF Core Course
The SMSF Core Course is designed for all SMSF advisers who want to fast track their learning to become SMSF experts. Suitable for both advisers with limited SMSF exposure and experienced advisers seeking to refresh and upgrade their skills.
Advisers obtain a detailed understanding of the SMSF rules and greatly increase their knowledge of the key SMSF strategies, legislation, court and tribunal cases and ATO materials (including ATO rulings, determinations, taxpayer alerts, etc). This knowledge is applied to practical case studies.
The course is taught via 10 x 1½ hour online units or a 2 day workshop. Each unit covers a core topic (see below) and includes relevant technical material with practical case studies. There is a recommended minimum pre-reading time per unit to ensure attendees maximise their learning outcome and have an understanding of the background material. This pre-reading allows the presenters to focus on the key material, strategies and case studies. On successful completion of this course, a CPD certificate is issued.
Streamlined supplemental units are available via the Integrity Education Group (an independent registered training organisation) on successful completion for those wanting ASIC compliant RG146 SMSF specialisation accreditation at a significantly reduced price. This is a great pathway for those seeking a limited SMSF (Australian Financial Services) licence leading up to the mid 2016 transition period and beyond.
The cost of this additional training is $600 and is payable to the Integrity Education Group. Usual RRP is $1,500.
